I have also seen the way alot of internet marketers are building their organisations and do not like the way they are doing this, they spend alot of money on Search Engine advertising and have any joe blogg join their business without providing them any training at all.

The way I work I help, train, teach and mentor any person that joins my organisation until they are 100% confident they can run their business on their own. Secondly I show all my business partners over 300 FREE ways to market successfully on the Internet until they make enough money to start paying more for advertising.

The business I am promoting is only the best, when looking at a Internet Marketing business you need to investigate it just as thoe you were purchasing it. This company has no debt, a proven track record, Company of the month in "Money Makers Monthly" and has a massive back fall of money from the owners. This business has the best Compensation Plan, comes with heaps of resources, an autoresponder and 3 product sales sites.

The concept of 'Maximum Balance' is a contradiction by nature. Maximum implies an extreme, the upper limit, the most. Balance implies moderation, evenness and trade-offs. Life, for many of us, is a struggle to achieve and maintain a growing and often contradictory set of goals. The pursuit of Maximum Balance is the challenge of constantly achieving superior results in all areas of life, without compromise. http://maximumchange.mbgroups.com/

* Have you ever been so focused on career success that your relationships with your friends and family suffered?
* How about never having the time to do something for yourself because everything you do is for your children and/or partner?
* Have you ever received a raise or promotion and you didn't stop to celebrate because you were already thinking about the next one?
* How about getting so focused on your personal challenges or needs that your job suffered?
* Do you ever find yourself so obsessed with financial success that you can't enjoy the benefits of that success?
* Or maybe you're so worried about financial disaster that you can't relax?
* Have you ever felt so overwhelmed by everything in life that you just didn't know where to focus your efforts?

It is the challenge of being able to achieve success in all areas of life, without compromise, that led us to develop Maximum Balance. Using the Internet and Maximum Balance Interactive as the foundation of the Maximum Balance Framework, we have developed a dynamic, interactive approach to personal achievement that is action-oriented and results-driven. Our free Getting Balanced program will get you started. And our innovative products will give you the personalized approach you deserve to achieve your goals online and offline — call it your Life MBA. http://maximumchange.mbgroups.com/

OUR MISSION

The Maximum Balance mission is to transform the way people achieve and maintain their life goals and objectives through our unique personal achievement program. By delivering the systems, tools and support that enable people to achieve success across five critical Cornerstones of life — personal, relationships, career, finance and giving-we believe we can help more people maximize the success they achieve in life for two reasons. First, we believe the Internet is the best foundation to deliver a program that can be constantly refreshed and personalized over time, versus traditional programs delivered via books and CDs where the content can't be updated in real-time. Second, we believe our unique approach to providing an integrated program across the five Cornerstones of life provides people with a system that realistically addresses the interactions of all of life's challenges and opportunities. We are driven each day to connect with those that are interested in improving their own lives as well as the lives of people around them by providing an easy-to-use program to help them achieve Maximum Balance. http://maximumchange.mbgroups.com/

I have posted this on a couple of related Tribes -- but I think it is relevant here as well.

In my MBA business consulting project have come across an inventor who is a professor and one of the world's authorities in odor control. He has discovered a molecular compound that destroys the bacteria that cause bad breath. He has also invented a pre-shower wash that destroys the bacteria causing body odor. He has also developed sprays for foot and pet odor that are far more effective than the standard products.

The problem is that he has been trying to commercialize his product range for nearly 10 years with very little success.

I am having to assume that his product line meets its claims. He has in the past taken been in contact with the main toiletery and toothpaste manufacturers like Unilever, Colgate, Gillete etc but never managed to close a major deal.

He has patent protection on all his IP. There is no problem regarding food and drug regulations. (After burning through around $900,000 from investors and incubator secured finance, R&D is complete).

The only product he has out in the market at the moment is a license of his compound as part of a breath cleansing chewing gum to a small manufacturer. The product is doing well.

I am still trying to get to the bottom of why past approaches to the big corporates has failed, but in the meantime trying to look forward to market positioning and lining up the sort of target companies that could be relevant. I am concentrating on the breath freshener compound. This compound can go into toothpaste, mouthwashes, chewing gums, confectionary drops, and basically any type of food/drink.

The inventor does not manufacture the compound -- but it is fairly cheap to make -- and his approach (which I think is correct ) is to license or offer it as part of a joint venture. An example of this sort of approach would be nutrasweet.

My thought is to go with dynamic companies that are one tier below the major players and to iniitally aim at the 18 - 25 age group with the product as one that has an 'attitude" based on sexuality and the power of kissing with confidence.

This is a large market and his compound does offer sustainable competitive advantage. Looking for creative ideas and inspiration on how to make this really fly.

Many thanks.

I have been reading most of the threads on this site for a while to evaluate its worthiness to me and my clients who have hired me to find where the best places online should they invest their time in.
My evaluation of this site is out on my blog site so I will leave that for you to read for yourself.
The reason I am writing is to provide the members of this site, all alleged CEO’s (the leaders of business and people), some insight into a few things that every business is challenged with that if not gotten under control will make spending time here on this site worth nothing. And, this could explain why there is only an average of one interesting post to this particular site per month.
So here goes for those of you still with me and are really looking for help solving you greatest business challenges.
There are a number of challenges businesses face but the top five pretty much are what you are dealing with right now.
The fifth is Trust, you don’t trust anyone, your customers and employees don’t trust you.
The fourth is the evaporating market. You re getting competition from everywhere the market is saturated with copy cat businesses that thrive on not being unique leaving businesses that are trying to change the market sitting on this site trying to find a solution.
The third is the fear of NOT getting an ROI. The catch word of the 21st century. The generation X and the baby boomers demand for quick gratification on every investment of every dollar. The business colleges are pumping out MBA’s that focuses on this mentality.
The second is raising costs. Yes, the CFO’s and COO’s of the world rational for everything they can’t do is based on rising costs. The headlines are full of CEO’s and top executives changing to other company’s, why? They failed to find a way to control costs.
Then the number one and the first challenge that comes out of every CEO’s mouth that has to stand up in front of his stockholders on why their ROI is not higher is due to ……Falling Profits.
OK, I stated the problems, what is the solution. If you look at these there is one that if solved will make the others disappear. And that one is not the one you probably would pick. It is Trust.
The lack of trust or care from you customers to be loyal to whatever it is you are in business to provide is the cause of all of these woes. OK, what is the solution to improving trust?
First of all there are very few things you can to improve trust because you have to build trust. And to build trust you have to get personally involved. Trust does not come in a letter, a post on this site or an email. Trusts come from looking someone in the eye and finding out what they are needing so you can provide it. You will not solve the trust problem unless you take a personal approach. You do this and you can start securing your customer base.
Hey, I have 20 thousand customers how I get to all of them personally. You tape into that other important resource you need to secure…your employees. Everyone who works for you should be able to represent your business like you sales people. And if treated right they probably would kick your sales department’s ass.
OK, how do you do this? People there is one business tool that if used correctly would create an interest amongst your customers to want to stay doing business with you much longer and will keep you from having to keeping from training new employees because your employee base is not about to leave due to them being now loyal to your company.
The answer is not what you suspect and, s not something a traditional consultant will say is viable because they usually do not know how to use it correctly. The one method that goes about solving trusts is generally presumed to not be cost effective, due again because most people do not know how to use it correctly. But it works and if you got your entire company involved using it you would be out here posting your ass off because you now have time and reason to tell other people in leaderships rolls what worked for you. Just like I am doing.
What is it that solved all of these problems? Business Golf
OK, click away if you may, but I have gotten it to work and it will improve business. And the way I go about telling you how to do it is not like how you are using it today, if you are.
Anyway. Business Golf will bring in more business, keep employees and customers happen and make more people want to do real business with you.
Think about. What have you got to lose? A few pounds around the waste and a few ulcers from worrying about what to do?
Come on, I’ll see you on the first tee.

I haven't posted in ages, but I did promise an update when it made sense to post one.

Now it does.

A bit of background: we have a little software company that we built with only our blood, sweat and credit cards. No backing, not vulture capitals, no angels, just us.

We developed our product in the so-called garage, we started marketing it using nothing but personal connections and sales chuzpah, and we sold a couple more installations on word of mouth.

The software solves a very painful problem in the financial industry. It's an enterprise solution, typically selling for several thousand per installation, although we keep raising the price since we have encountered zero resistance to price thus far.

Suddenly, a lot of interest started coming our way from a much larger entity - a "mothership bank" so to speak - and lo and behold, suddenly our pipeline got filled with 85 installations - with a phase 2 of another 80 or so.

So now we're finalizing the MSA, and Im interviewing people to join us so we can handle this new business, and there are more even more promising leads, and feeling pretty much on top of the world... I mean, we've done it, on our own, with no backing at all! We created a real, viable, profitable company from scratch. And my CEO title actually means something now, because I've been building the business (my co-founder does the technology), every painstaking detail of it along the way.

Amazing.

Anyway, thought I'd share. If all goes well, and we continue execute well on our carefully crafted (well, ok, survival instinct driven) plan, we'll be grossing 2M in 12 months, and the sky is the limit from there.

I have started a consulting firm that focuses on business intelligence/ competitive intelligence for companies.I am young, and having worked in marketing and business development throughout my career I know that I have the skills to provide good results to potential clientele.

Now, I have just finished a pro bono contract for a manufacturer in order to start my consulting firm - they liked my work a lot. I am looking to build a portfolio of 3 more pro bono contracts with non-profits to build my credibility before I actively start pursuing paying clients.

My question is, would you reccommend this type of strategy or should I immediately go after smaller paying clients instead?
Communication & Conferencing System the world has
seen so far - with about 30 tools integrated amongst which:

* Voice and multi-video conferencing
* White board
* PowerPoint Presentations
* Record your presentations
* Play presentations in your absence
* Voice mail
* Voice messenger
* Voice responder (If some one visits and wants to
leave a voice message, it's recorded and sent to
you by mail.
* Many moderator functions, better than any in the market
* Partially brandable interface, logo, colors to choose etc.
* Many languages - 7 so far even before launch !!!

* This system can be used by Mac users as well which
is not possible with most VoIP Conferencing programs now.

* No program download. ActiveX only and P2P technology.
This means your audience will be in your room with only
ONE CLICK!

* Rooms from 20 seats to... up to 10,000 seats capacity!!!
WOW Big Al... here comes your REAL audience !
I.. the world... won't have to miss you THIS time !!!

Basically, this is a multi-media type of marketing, downline building,
communication and conferencing tool!
We call it 3x7 right now because of its forced matrix.

We offer a TOP FOUNDER spot to you - PLEASE ACT FAST -
as soon as the traffic light on the website is red it's all over...
and it will be soon as many serious people have already grabbed
their FOUNDER position - have you?

Check it out: can you still make it or is it too late :

http://3x7.gr/id/caiporacat/index2.htm

I hear your silent question and the answer is: YES!
You can make money too, here is the money profile:

Founders who make it in time invest a once-off $100
They get a 50 seater Multimedia conferencing room.

If you refer 3 Co-Founders, you get $100 bonus. Immediately.
For every 3 Founders you refer this bonus applies.

If you refer 3 Founders in time, you are a 'Qualified Founder'
and will have 3 (three) Communication Centers with 100 seats
(those you don't need you can sell or rent them :)

And you have 3 frontlines who pay for your room, as on each
of these founders you make $9 per month.

Monthly cost: $26.95 per month
20 seater multimedia conferencing and communication center.

First level pay out $9 (with 3 referred your's is paid.)
Second to 7th level an additional $14 are kicked back,
that's a total of $23 or 85%!

And the icing on the cake: Founders get a...
European off-shore Bank-account and a Visa paycard.

Exciting? Yes and more. Click through this brief presentation
I made very fast due to the imminent deadline... and things
fall even better into place in a simple way :

http://3x7.gr/id/caiporacat/index2.htm

Can you IMAGINE what that would mean for you ???

DO YOU SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE ?
Do you now understand why CEO's and heavy hitters
alike have joined already?

Let me paint the picture even clearer... and remember, this is
a PRIVATE INVITATION to you as a valued member on our
yorGOsys Team - so it's privileged... until the light is RED :

3x7 is the perfect tool for large and small corporates,
corporate networks, office2office, continent2continent...
for a very affordable $26,95/month !

You only find 3 Co-Founders and your position is fully
paid for!

With $26,95/monthly for a 20-seater, this system is totally
affordable for just any networker and company - we pay $80 a
month for VOX with none of the discussed features! No slide
shows, no recording, no people being able to come in at their
own time without downloading anything, and select their own
language and pulling from the library what they are interested in.
So basically the guy in Germany can sponsor someone in China
without even knowing that language, that's how easy it is!

Example Greece: this country was always left out due to the
language problems and without that, there's no trust of course.

NOW, all of a sudden, a whole market opens for Greeks speaking
Greek, NOW they can communicate and trust, meet their families
and relatives from all over the world, especially as they are big
travellers, NOW they can exchange pictures and videos and
interact LIVE - all that for $26,95 !!!!!!!

You can also arrange for LARGE conferences - IMAGINE you
have a large Corporation (and many CEO's signed already...)...
and you organize an important meeting with a Guest Speaker...
those people are normally not only expensive, but also very
very busy while travelling the world - can you IMAGINE that
these people can NOW just call into the room?

This will also be appreciated by low-tech networkers as it will
save them lots of money - THIS is the much better, more
efficient and incredibly cheaper tool!

IMAGINE... that tomorrow every single downline could have
for ONLY $26,95 - a Conference Centre, a full MULTI-MEDIA
COMMUNICATION CENTRE!!!

Can you imagine what that means?

Independent of the language he speaks, the place he lives
anywhere in the world... totally 100% FROM HOME...
the perfect INTERACTIVE meeting place!
He just turns on the PC and with ONE CLICK he's in the room,
his own INTERACTIVE WEBSITE... where people can come and
go and leave messages?

This means that 3x7 belongs in the basic toolbox of just
ANY ONLINE MARKETER - it doesn't matter which business he's
involved with, that's irrelevant. What does count is that he now
has a global instant interactive flexibility and presence
online! Affordable! Automatically!

Isn't that better than just boring flat webpages?

IMAGINE those people with online stores!
See the value of such a store being projected in a room like that,
with a dynamic voice presentation guiding through the store,
while customers can leave messages, order, ask for something,
get direct feedback on a particular topic?!!!

People will just go in there and SEE & CONSUME - and we can take
care of them.

And for any serious network marketer: this is the IDEAL TOOL FOR
DUPLICATION and setting standards throughout the Team.

So if you want to BOOST YOUR DUPLICATION PROCESS,
if you seriously want to enable your Team members to AUTOMATE
their sponsoring and sales efforts to the largest extent in a fantastic
hi-technology environment, then become a Founder now!

http://3x7.gr/id/caiporacat/index2.htm

We have just one or perhaps two days left to enter Founders
and you want to bring your best Team Leaders with you - as
otherwise others will - and that's a guarantee.

By doing so, you become a 'qualifed founder' with all the benefits.
You don't only get into the most REVOLUTIONARY Communication
and Conferencing System that has hit the Internet since years,
but you FIX YOUR POSITION NOW and enable your team leaders to
join at the very origine and have advance on all those who come later.
First come, first serve!
Who recruits most Founders will have most downlines.

Of course, you can sign up anytime, but those today in your downline
will be in before you and you will lose out on that business, as simple
as that. Rather add this income stream to your toolbox in time.

There is only a limited number of people that can be accepted -
by no later than Thursday - GRAB YOUR CHANCE NOW :

Hi there. I am not sure if you know Curtis Coleman ... he's a friend of ours in the Burning Man community. His situation is very precarious right now, so if I can ask you anything it would be that you put him in your thoughts and prayers.

Friends of Curtis is a community effort to support singer/songwriter Curtis Coleman as he battles squamous cell carcinoma, an aggressive cancer attacking his neck and throat. Last year, Curtis’ musical performances helped tens of thousands of children to learn about safety and expressing their own voices. Now, he may lose his own voice forever. Together we can help prevent that.

I have a huge favor to ask of you. We're putting together a FUNdraiser for Curtis, on March 5 at SOMArts in San Francisco. As part of this we are having a silent auction to let people take home some cool items while leaving some more of their cash behind LOL.

Would any of you be willing to donate an item or two to auction off at the benefit? I'd love anything, but if it's something meaningful to you, I'm sure it'll go over great with the crowd.

You would get a display sheet with your name/web site on it and the right to display your business cards right next to your products.

If you think you can participate, please let me know and we'll figure out logistics. I really appreciate it.

Have you ever played hooky from work? If you've ever faked a cough or a scratchy throat so you could escape to the golf course, the shopping mall, or just the peace and quiet of home, you're not alone. Fully 21 percent of American workers have faked an illness in order to skip work, according to a recent Harris Poll.

The No. 1 sign someone in your office is planning to play hooky tomorrow: Today, he or she will cough loudly or frequently complain of a sore throat. That sets the stage for calling in sick tomorrow and being believed. Men and women are equally guilty. While 20 percent of men admitted to this workplace deception, 22 percent of women confessed to doing it.

Only 36 percent of unscheduled absences last year were actually related to real illnesses, the San Antonio Express-News reports of a survey conducted by CCH Inc., a provider of human resources information in Riverwoods, Illinois. The other 64 percent of the time? Employees took what the survey called "entitlement mentality" days off for family issues, personal needs, and even stress. This is the thinking that goes into taking a guilt-free entitlement mentality day: I work hard. That entitles me to an occasional day off.

Bosses, beware! This kind of absenteeism costs companies a whopping $645 per employee every year, reports the San Antonio Express-News. CCH estimates that employees took on average 5.6 sick days in 2003, which is actually less than the 6.2 days they took in 2002. Why the decline? The shaky economy and potential layoffs have made employees think twice about being someone who is branded as taking a lot of time off.

If you're going to take an entitlement mentality day, just be smart about it. Don't try to extend the weekend. Take your "sick" day on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

In legal terms corporations are legal entities just like people are. I have wondered why Tribe and other services don't choose to promote the concept of listing your business as a "member" of tribe.

That way people can write testimonials, etc. The corp tribe member can post their listings for jobs, etc.

It seems a good way to offer up one's business as a "neutral entity" on tribe that can be buffeted, corrected, critiqued, etc. and a way for people to locate services that are not necessarily person to person, but also person to small business.

If he/she sees this, I think I've found what you're looking for. I know someone who works at a place that recreates catastrophic events, and he knows where to find wingless fuselages (apparently there's a large selection, too).

My successful company is preparing an equity offering as a way to fund our expansion. Our financial projections are extremely detailed and the business plan is coming together nicely. Our most conservative estimates put us at roughly $11,000,000 in NET income in year five. More realistic estimates put us higher than $20,000,000.

I am seeking a local business funding expert that can spend the time to review our documents and offer feedback and advice on the documents themselves - and on how to craft the most effective presentation.

We do not create content. Rather, manufacture innovative pleasure items and we are about to introduce a financial product to adult entertainment businesses to meet the urgent and growing need for alternative payments systems.
I have arrived at the eleventh hour. I completed a business plan about three weeks ago. The problem set before me: the problem of poverty. I built an organization with associated technology geared toward providing 'venture capital to the masses'. I have alot of advanced ideas coming from a lot of different places: like FOAF software, the development economics of Pralahad and Amirita Sen, 'emergence' and 'meme' phenomena. In negotiations now with a Community Development Finance Institution(CDFI). Need bridge financing like yesterday. Something to hold me for about a month. Willing to part with some equity. When I started this project with my two partners: a reverend and a neurologists, we were aiming at helping the chronically unemployed, those hardest to reach. Nobody knew how to get to them. My solution: you train, house, and job place upfront, like investing in 'human capital', and you make your money on the backend. Like the way hiphop producers find their artists and develop them. Same principle, but spread out to everyone. People here,in Oklahoma, are telling this can work for everyone now since we do generate jobs, lots of jobs. Partners have moved against me. Need advice, help, and money. Any takers? Any serious investors, I have completed business plan with projections, proformas, vision, details, the works. The country, the world needs this.
